High Sierra MountainScapes is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our landscaping maintenance team as an Assistant Crew Leader. As the Assistant Crew Leader, you will be responsible for helping lead a team of maintenance workers in maintaining and caring for our clients' outdoor spaces. This role is vital in assisting the Crew Leader with daily activities.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with supervising and leading a team of maintenance workers
In case of the Crew Leaders absence the Assistant will be in charge of the maintenance team
Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
Pruning trees, shrubs, and hedges
Weeding flower beds and garden areas
Planting and watering flowers and other plants
Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools
Keeping work areas clean and tidy
Communicating effectively with clients and management
Ensuring the maintenance trailer is fully fueled and stocked daily
Responsible for completing a final walk around on all maintenance properties
Requirements:
Prior experience in landscaping or lawn maintenance, including crew leadership
Ability to operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
