Mostly weekends. Must have at least two years experience. Experience with landscaping, pavers, borders and rock beds. Need to be able to operate a zero turn, string trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, be able to drive a truck and pull a trailer, be able to use bush and hedge trimmers. Must be able to move at a fast pace in hot environments. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
The job includes mowing, weed whacking, lawn maintenance as needed. Also includes mulching, brush/bush removal, leaf clean up and other lawn care tasks. Must be physically able to do this job
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make a positive impact on customer’s landscape. Help attract and retain customers as well as provide a safe outdoor environment for customers and employees
- Operate power equipment such as zero turn mowers, weed eater, edger, back pack blowers, tractors, chainsaws, clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws
- Use tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning equipment, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes
- Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsaws
- Mix and spray herbicides.
- Trim and remove dead plant material and remove weeds from beds
- Install sod, mulch, pine straw, river rock, and other bedding material
- Install trees, shrubs, plants and flowers
- Use different types of Heavy equipment to include skid steers, excavators, dump trucks, ditch witch, and tractors
