Position Summary
We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and beautifully landscaped grounds. This role is essential to the upkeep of our property and plays a significant part in ensuring our guests have a top-notch first impression.
As the Grounds Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Lawn Care: Mow, edge, and weed lawns and green areas.
- Debris Removal: Regularly pick up trash and debris to keep the property neat and welcoming.
- Tree and Shrub Maintenance: Trim trees and shrubs to maintain healthy growth and curb appeal.
- Plant Care: Repot plants and ensure all landscaping elements are well maintained.
- Fertilization: Apply fertilizer and other treatments as needed.
- Irrigation Monitoring: Monitor irrigation systems and assist with minor repairs.
- Seasonal Projects: Perform seasonal cleanups and special landscaping projects as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate various tools and machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience.
- Ability to safely operate lawn equipment and landscaping tools.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred:
- Certification in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds management.
- Experience with irrigation systems and minor repair work.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
