Job Description: Lifeguard & Swim Instructor – San Angelo YMCA
Position Summary:
The San Angelo YMCA is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic team members to help create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment in our aquatics area. Lifeguard & Swim Instructor staff play a key role in supporting the well-being of members while maintaining safety and delivering high-quality swim instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe swimming conditions in the pool, on deck, and in surrounding areas
- Promote a respectful, inclusive atmosphere aligned with YMCA policies and procedures
- Interact with members of all ages, offering guidance and encouragement toward their health and wellness goals
- Lead swim instruction with confidence, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to students
Available Shifts:
- Early Morning
- Mid-Morning to Early Afternoon
- Early Evening

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
