The Light Industrial Retail Associate

Monday – Friday starting at 6 am - 230. Pay is $14.50 per hour.

We are searching for a Light Industrial Retail Associate who will be responsible for multiple tasks including: handling and preparing products for sale, maintaining stock levels, and assisting customers in our retail space. In this position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Prepare products for sale, by labeling, packaging, and assembling smaller components according to specifications.
• Operate light-duty production machines or equipment as trained and needed for processing and packaging.
• Perform basic quality checks and report any defects or inconsistencies in products.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory records, assist with stock counts as needed.:
  • Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing information about our products.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and retail area.
  • Stock shelves, create displays, and ensure products are presented according to merchandising guidelines.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in both the industrial and retail environments.
    • Handle materials and potentially sensitive genetic products with care and according to established guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems (or willingness to learn).
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 25-50] pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Prior experience in a light industrial or retail setting is preferred, but on-the-job training may be provided.
