Piper Companies is seeking a LIMS Implementation Manager role to join a growing leader in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology space for a contract, hybrid position located in Morrisville, NC. The LIMS Implementation Manager will lead a critical Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) deployment within the gene therapy space. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in LIMS implementations, particularly in life sciences, and a strong understanding of analytical workflows unique to gene therapy.
Responsibilities of the LIMS Implementation Manager include:
- Lead full-cycle LIMS implementation from project initiation through go-live.
- Manage integration of 22 lab instruments and deployment across five product lines.
- Oversee implementation of modules: Sample Management, Environmental Monitoring, and Stability Management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QC, Microbiology, and QA (35 users).
- Report to system owner and drive project execution with hands-on resources.
Qualifications for the LIMS Implementation Manager include:
- 10+ years of LIMS implementation experience in the life sciences industry.
- Strong background in gene therapy and analytical workflows (e.g., ddPCR, Mass Spec).
- Expertise in sample management, environmental analysis, and stability programs.
- Familiarity with Analytical Validation (AV) and process QC.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field preferred.
Compensation for the LIMS Implementation Manager:
- Salary Range: $70-$75/hour (USD)
