Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems including security systems, CCTV, and telecommunication networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system design and cabling practices, as well as experience with remote access software and power tools.
Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including security systems and CCTV.
- Perform cabling tasks for various telecommunication projects.
- Utilize remote access software for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of systems.
- Collaborate with clients to design tailored low voltage solutions that meet their needs.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support as a service technician for any issues that may arise post-installation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in low voltage installations and maintenance.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
- Strong knowledge of cabling techniques and system design principles.
- Experience with security systems and CCTV installations is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications in low voltage technology or related fields are a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
