POSITION SUMMARY:
First Shift - Monday - Thursday 5:15 am - 3:45 pm
PREREQUISITES:
Minimum total experience is four (4) years. Must have basic knowledge of all matters relative to maintenance and general upkeep of building and equipment. Prefer experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC Milling Centers and Lathes, Mig and Tig Weld equipment, Robotic Welders, air compressors and Forklifts. Must be capable of performing all types of Preventive Maintenance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment. Troubleshoots equipment issues, determines what is needed to fix the problem, and performs the repair. Works with Buyer to obtain replacement parts. Performs required PM’s on all shop equipment.
Repairs and maintains physical structures using hand tools and power tools while utilizing proper LOTO procedures.
Leads housekeeping improvement efforts – painting, door and window installation, and building renovations.
Assists the Management Team Member in charge of the Hazardous Waste program. Independent activities involving hazardous waste are prohibited.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifts 50 lbs., Stooping, bending, handling, reaching required.
Stands 95% of day, walks 5% of day. Lifts, pulls, pushes, and handles materials and parts.
Midrange and close vision required. Depth perception and field of vision required.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Works inside 90%, exposed to shop and equipment noise. Exposed to metal dust and shavings. Exposed to moving mechanical parts of machines.
GENERAL COMMENTS:
Personal work and/or school references must indicate dependability, good attendance, and consistent, steady worker with few or no job-related problems.
