- Applicants will be considered for shift and hours posted.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
- General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
- Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
- Must be able to read and write where required.
- Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
- Must be willing and able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
Requirements:
- Must have 1 year of maintenance experience or a maintenance certification from an accredited school listed in the application.
- Must own small hand tools and have a working knowledge of electricity, power, transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and the use of shop tools.
- If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
