We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team in a fast-paced industrial environment. This hands-on role combines mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing a team of technicians across multiple shifts.
As a key member of our operations team, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, including motors, conveyors, and plastic injection molding machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians across shifts, ensuring productivity, communication, and smooth shift transitions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and work orders.
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to optimize equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Supervisory or lead technician experience—must be able to coach, schedule, and manage team performance.
- Strong mechanical systems knowledge and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with plastic injection molding machinery (preferred).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and workplace cleanliness.
Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required):
- Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order tracking and maintenance scheduling.
