Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team in performing routine and emergency repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and HVAC systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for industrial maintenance, schematics interpretation, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficient in electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their troubleshooting.
- Experience with HVAC systems and facilities management practices.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
