Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. This will include cleaning equipment, lubricating parts, replacing air filters and conveyor belts, inspecting and tightening bolts and fasteners, monitoring and adjusting machine settings.
- Possess some mechanical knowledge and ability to do basic repairs.
- Ensuring the factory remains clean and organized.
- Assembling and packaging of all tools, frames and handles for customer orders.
- Must strictly follow any and all safety procedures and policies that are in place.
- Ability to setup and operate jigs, drills and saws in the production line.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in understanding basic repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task and have good organizational skills.
This position is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with overtime as needed. This is a union position with a pension, attendance bonus and paid time off. Health, dental and vision insurance after 45 days.
