Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. Self starters and motivated individuals required for a busy property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on call emergencies as needed. Maintenance worker will partner and facilitate with all vendors on property ensuring smooth and easy access to needed areas. Maintaining all the common areas. Daily cleaning duties including one public restroom maintained and properly cleaned. All building common areas, facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal working condition. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, a strong understanding of troubleshooting and small plumbing repairs with the ability to provide excellent customer service. The Maintenance Person will also collaborate with other team members and vendors to enhance operational efficiency. At times must be able to lift 25+50 lbs, and climb small ladders.
Responsibilities
- Trash compactor taken out daily at 7 am.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Daily common area cleaning and one public restroom.
- Drywall repairs to stage 4
- Grounds cleaning and curb appeal
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Conduct residential painting and touch-ups to ensure aesthetic quality of facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from property manager ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
