Manager of People & Culture - With Family Focus
Job Summary:
The Manager of People and Culture is responsible for shaping and nurturing a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture that not only engages and supports employees but also recognizes and actively involves their spouses and families in the employee experience. This role will be a critical driver in creating a supportive ecosystem that acknowledges the importance of family in employees' lives, fostering a sense of belonging and promoting overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Culture Strategy & Implementation:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies and initiatives that cultivate a vibrant and inclusive company culture.
- Design and implement programs that foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and build a stronger sense of community within the organization.
- Family & Spouse Engagement:
- Develop and manage initiatives that actively involve and appreciate employees' spouses and families, such as family-friendly events (e.g., company picnics, holiday parties), according to People Matters - HR News.
- Explore and implement programs that support work-life balance and provide resources for employees with family responsibilities, including flexible work arrangements, childcare assistance programs, or family support resources.
- Create opportunities for spouses and family members to learn about the company, its mission, and its values, fostering a deeper connection to the organization.
- Facilitate recognition and appreciation programs that acknowledge the contributions of employee spouses and families, particularly during times when employees are going above and beyond.
- Promote open communication and dialogue within the company about the importance of family and work-life integration.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Design and distribute internal communications that promote company values and culture.
- Facilitate meaningful conversations and team-building activities that strengthen professional relationships.
- Collaborate with HR, management, and leadership to ensure cultural initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a culture ambassador, championing the company's mission, vision, and values to all stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
