Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of marketing initiatives that promote Johnstone Supply’s products, services, and brand. This role collaborates with vendors, internal teams, and external partners to drive customer engagement, manage promotional efforts, and ensure brand consistency across all channels. Key responsibilities include campaign development, performance tracking, customer communications, and vendor coordination.

Essential Duties:
- Partner with internal departments and external vendors to design and implement marketing strategies that reflect Johnstone Supply’s brand and meet customer expectations.
- Plan, execute, and manage promotional campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including the website, print materials, in-store displays, and social media platforms.
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, sales data, website traffic, and content engagement to evaluate results and inform future strategies.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key supplier contacts to support timely and effective collaboration.
- Assist customers by addressing website-related concerns and supporting the execution of customer-facing programs and promotions.
- Contribute to marketing program administration, including data entry, reporting, and budget tracking.
- Provide marketing and administrative support for dealership-focused initiatives and data-driven programs.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure marketing practices remain current and competitive.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in brand messaging, with attention to detail in all materials and communications.
- Deliver professional, respectful, and confidential support to internal and external clients.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges and improve marketing outcomes.
Qualifications and education requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of two to three years of experience in graphic design /print layout or a related marketing role is required.
- A portfolio displaying relevant work, especially in print layout and advertisement design is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
Additional job-specific knowledge, skills & abilities
- Proficient in managing multi-social media campaigns and using digital marketing tools to drive engagement and visibility.
- Solid understanding of core marketing principles, including customer segmentation, acquisition, retention, and brand development.
- Highly skilled in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent programs
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: including Excel (with Pivot Tables), Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Demonstrates strong organizational and data management skills, with the ability to prepare, analyze, and clearly present marketing data to support decision-making.
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage shifting workloads.
- Communicates clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats.
- Works collaboratively across distributed teams and maintains effective communication via phone and email.
- Applies a solid understanding of marketing principles and techniques to drive effective campaigns.
- Provides respectful, confidential, and client-focused services in all interactions.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
