THE ROLE

PURPOSE & SCOPE

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive new customer acquisition, and support sales objectives. As a major player in the Marketing team, this role in partnership with the Director of Marketing & PR will lead marketing campaigns, collaborate cross functionally and exercise leadership to achieve marketing goals.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and target audience.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set marketing goals and KPIs and establish a marketing budget.
  • Oversee brand positioning and messaging to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand differentiation.
  • Analyze digital marketing metrics and insights to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Develop content marketing strategies to engage the target audience, drive traffic, and support lead generation efforts.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create compelling and relevant content.
  • Develop product marketing strategies and campaigns to support product launches and drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Work closely with product teams to understand product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, brand merchandising, commercial, regional, digital, PR, Media, Events, Retail, Licensing) to plan and execute campaigns and promotional campaigns across various media channels to increase brand visibility.
  • Manage media buying and negotiate contracts with advertising partners.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to gain insights into customer behavior and market trends.
  • Utilize data and analytics to make data-driven marketing decisions.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.
  • Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and report on key metrics and KPIs to the executive team.
  • Present marketing reports and insights to guide future marketing strategies.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication to regional and channel stakeholders, including regular updates and cross-functional meetings.
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly upper management presentations incl. high-level recaps, key messages, and implications.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance to measure KPIs, identify learnings, and propose improvements.
  • Manage marketing department budgets to ensure accurate billing and invoicing.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar marketing leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and revenue.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, and advertising strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and identify market opportunities.
  • Passion for marketing and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
