The Marketing Strategic Planning and Operations team unlocks collective, sustainable Marketing impact by shaping marketing strategy and plans, spearheading operational rigor, and evolving marketing and its capabilities. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires organization and communication skills, and the ability to manage various teams and stakeholders effectively. It partners closely with marketing leaders and is integral in driving operational rigor for FOA Marketing.Marketing Strategy, Planning and Operations Manager Responsibilities
- Define, implement, manage, and refine organizational operations, rhythms of business, and ways of working that enable FOA Marketing to do awesome things
- Develop efficient and effective processes to manage FOA Marketing’s critical work streams and priority launches
- Build and manage workback schedules and hold members of the full cross-functional FOA Marketing team accountable to deliver on time
- Establish a communication structure to report out updates, progress, and project status to stakeholders
- Support the implementation of annual planning processes
- Identify and structure emerging misalignments and develop solutions (both within team and across orgs), help remove roadblocks, escalate misalignments, and ensure teams are set up for successful execution
- Define and track org-level goals
- Communicate up, down, and across org to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy
- Identify opportunities to build and improve on strategic marketing, planning, and operations processes
- Work with cross-functional partners including Media, Insights, Analytics, Finance, Communications, and HR to enable informed business decisions and resource allocation
- Bachelors degree
- 4+ years experience across marketing, operations, or strategy
- Demonstrated project management experience, effective organizational skills and experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Understanding of the Marketing function and its core competencies
- Experience collaborating and building effective relationships in dynamic and matrixed organizations
- Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and effectively balancing between analyzing and executing
- Prior experience in consumer marketing
- Prior experience in either management consulting or in-house strategy and operations
- Prior experience in consumer technology
$96,000/year to $143,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
