Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality work and possess a strong attention to detail. This role involves various painting tasks, including residential projects, restoration, and renovation work. The Painter will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of properties while ensuring that all work meets industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brushwork.
- Restore and renovate surfaces as needed, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks when required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within quality standards.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential painting or similar roles.
- Familiarity with plastering techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction estimating is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
