We are looking for a warm, responsible, and engaging Math Tutor with experience teaching elementary-level students to join our afterschool tutoring program.
This position is ideal for certified teachers, retired educators, or experienced tutors who enjoy helping young learners build math confidence and problem-solving skills in a small group setting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred)
- Teaching or tutoring experience with elementary students (Grades K–5)
- Strong math content knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly
- Patience, positivity, and excellent communication skills
- Classroom or small group teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide math instruction to small groups of students (individualized or by grade level)
- Reinforce foundational math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, word problems, etc.)
- Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with staff and communicate with parents when needed
Compensation:
