We’re a fast-growing kosher meal and meat delivery company making high‑quality, properly portioned kosher solutions. Small, nimble team; clean, climate‑controlled production environment; strong emphasis on food safety, yield, and consistency. Work under kosher supervision (mashgiach on site).
What You’ll Do
- Break down and trim kosher beef & poultry (no slaughter), portion to spec (ounce-accurate) using scales.
- Perform knife prep: trimming, deboning (as applicable), de-skinning, portion control to maximize yield and minimize waste.
- Vacuum seal / wrap, label, and stage proteins & prepared components (sauces, aromatics, sides) for kits.
- Assemble meal kits: verify ingredient counts, labeling (allergens, use-by dates), and packaging quality.
- Maintain strict kosher separation & hygiene protocols; follow HACCP / food safety checklists, temperature logs, and allergen controls.
- Keep work areas sanitized: cleaning knives, boards, tables; daily end-of-shift breakdown.
- Communicate shortages or QC issues quickly; contribute ideas to improve efficiency & yields.
Must Have:
- Prior professional food prep OR meat cutting/butchering experience (restaurant, commissary, butcher shop, grocery, or meal kit facility).
- Solid knife skills (we will do a brief knife/yield test).
- Basic food safety knowledge; willing to obtain Florida Food Handler / ServSafe within 30 days (company can reimburse).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand most of shift
- Reliability on Sundays & Mondays; punctual and consistent attendance.
Nice to Have (Preferred, Not Required):
- Kosher handling familiarity (we will train if not).
- Experience vacuum sealing, portion scaling, or using label printers.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Hebrew.
- HACCP or yield tracking exposure.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
