What You'll Do:
As a Mechanical Superintendent, you'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of mechanical installation and service projects. You'll coordinate with project executives, project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and up to VMG's exceptional standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee mechanical field operations from kickoff through completion
Lead and support foremen and field crews on-site
Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety standards
Coordinate project logistics, phasing, and material management
Manage RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and quality control
Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
Review MEP drawings and specifications to guide field installation
What You Bring to the Table:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on mechanical or commercial installation projects
Master's License is a strong plus!
Expertise in HVAC systems, including VRF systems
Proven experience interpreting MEP drawings and construction specifications
Knowledge of construction processes including RFIs, change orders, scheduling, etc.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with mechanical drawings, tools, and methods in HVAC installation
Ability to travel to project sites throughout the DMV region.
Location:
Based at our Sterling, VA headquarters
Travel to local job sites in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia is required
