We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team and provide primary care, surgery, urgent care, and OB/GYN services. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in the delivery of primary care, surgery, urgent care, and ob/gyn services.
- Take patient histories and vital signs.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure that all necessary equipment is available.
- Perform basic laboratory tests.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by a physician.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures.
- Instruct patients on proper medication use and self-care techniques.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
