We are seeking a Medical Assistant (M.A) with great written and oral communication skills.
We prefer bilingual and speak Spanish and English properly.
Monday through Friday.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer phones
- Schedule patient appointments
- Consultations, follow-ups
- Confirm appointments
- Confirm patients for surgery and arrival time for next day
- Input of patient data into computer
- Input of patient appointment into computer
- Assemble new charts, input labs, medical clearance, ekg, chest xray, etc.
- Pull charts
- File charts
- Greet patients
- Take patients to exam rooms
- Obtain consent
- Obtain patient signature
- Open office on surgery days
- Reviews the documents in the chart for completion, before surgery or procedure
- Cosmetic op reports for MDs- to be completed by doctor
- Clean and maintain waiting room and reception area
- Be able to measure and record vital signs
- Assist in injections and dressing changes, wound care*
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
