Seeking to hire a ready-to-work Medical Assistant for the Tarzana area for an Infectious Disease practice. This position is for a cross-trained/floater Medical Assistant, so looking for a candidate who is comfortable with working both Front and Back Office.
Medical Assistant Position Overview:
- Location: Tarzana, CA
- Schedule: Tues-Fri, 8:30am-5pm, with potential for Mon to be Full-time.
- Hourly Pay: $21-$25/hr. (depending on experience)
- Benefits: Upon eligibility, health, paid time off, holidays, etc.
Medical Assistant Duties:
- Greeting and preparing patients for procedures
- Taking vitals and documenting patient medical history
- Administering injections
- Answering and screening phone calls
- Scheduling patient appointments
Medical Assistant Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification or Training (School or On-the-Job)
- Current CPR certification
- Injections experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish a must-have
