Our medical office is seeking to fill medical front office assistant positions. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer and resolve all incoming calls and requests in a timely, accurate manner
- Schedule appointments, check in patients and explain clinic policies to patients
- Ensure complete and accurate registration, including patient demographic and current insurance information and enter into EMR
- Verify insurance coverage, eligibility and benefits
- Process, record, and follow up on medical authorizations
- Contact insurance companies to modify and ensure prior approval requirements are met
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum one-year experience in medical office preferred
- Must be bilingual in Vietnamese or Spanish
- Working knowledge of medical insurances preferred
- Must be a quick learner and able to multi-task
- Must have excellent communications skills
