Position Summary:
The men’s domestic violence group co-facilitator is responsible for co-facilitating the weekly men’s Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (DAIP) group, participating in group debriefing and actively engaging in monthly probation calls. This is a great part time opportunity with flexible scheduling, ideal for individuals looking for experience in psychology or social work or for someone who is looking for a part time opportunity for extra income while making a real impact in our community.
Job duties:
Group co-facilitation
- Aids in teaching the Men’s Domestic Violence Group curriculum to group participants
- Actively participates as co-facilitator
- Aids in holding participants accountable to rules around attendance and participation
We have group 3 times per week:
Monday - 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Wednesday - 6:00-7:30pm
Thursday - 11:00-12:30pm
Requirements:
Job Related Experience: No job-related experience required
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Must be 18 years or older
Additional Requirements: In accordance with the Domestic Abuse Intervention Project (DAIP) requirements, group sessions must be co-facilitated by one male and one female facilitator.
