Position Summary:
The JFIS Program Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight and coordination of the JFIS Program and JFIS Reentry branch, including managing the survivor application and screening process, maintaining communications with survivors and program partners, database management, and reentry case management. This position works directly and collaboratively with the JFIS Legal Director.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the JFIS Program screening and application process. Review and file all incoming mail, digitize physical files, and send outgoing mail to applicants to reflect their application status or provide other updates as needed.
· Maintain the program database and case management software, located on FileVine and GCADV’s server. Routinely update client listings to reflect new mail and case updates.
· Identify and manage consultants, community partners, student interns, and/or volunteers to assist with JFIS program tasks, data collection, and data analysis. Maintain existing volunteer network and provide volunteer-oriented training sessions, volunteer and intern onboarding, and periodic meetings.
· Maintain a relationship with program partners at the Georgia Department of Corrections. Schedule routine in-person visits to the prisons to conduct screening interviews and meet with clients. Schedule legal calls or meetings with clients on behalf of program staff or volunteers as needed.
· Maintain a relationship with program partners at the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles. Submit completed parole packets and follow up on client parole status as needed.
· Provide reentry case management to survivors who have been released from prison with assistance from the JFIS program. Conduct routine check-in calls to assess reentry needs, provide resources and support, and submit flexible financial assistance and vendor payments as needed.
· Work together with program staff and grant writing team on programmatic grant applications, including gathering program data and writing/reviewing portions of the application.
· Assist JFIS Legal Director with aspects of direct representation work, including providing administrative support, conducting research, retrieving documents, and drafting and filing pleadings and orders.
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of work experience in program/project coordination or management.
· Proficient in Microsoft suite and Zoom; ability to learn and adapt to new software systems
· Ability to prioritize, work under deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time. Exceptional attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow-through and execute projects successfully.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work individually in a self-directed manner and as part of a team.
· Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
· Understanding and commitment to social justice issues, including gender-based violence and racial equity.
· Ability to travel to GCADV office routinely. Ability to travel within and around Georgia. Access to reliable transportation Is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience using FileVine or other legal case management software.
· Experience working with survivors of abuse/trauma.
· Experience working with incarcerated or formerly incarcerated populations.
· Experience in case management.
· Experience working in the legal field, ideally in criminal law.
· Experience developing and managing program budgets.
· Experience in grant writing.
· Experience thriving within a hybrid/remote work environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
