JSSA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor of Therapeutic Mentoring to join our Behavioral Health Support Services team. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for someone passionate about supporting youth and families through community-based behavioral health services. The Supervisor will report directly to the Director of Behavioral Health Support Services and play a key role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and impact of our Therapeutic Mentoring program.
In this role, the Clinical Supervisor will oversee a team of Youth Development Coordinators, providing regular supervision, monitoring service quality, and supporting staff development. You will be responsible for evaluating caseloads, ensuring compliance with documentation standards, and reviewing service delivery to meet contractual and agency requirements. You’ll also serve as a point of contact for referrals and new enrollments, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for incoming families.
The Clinical Supervisor will conduct regular check-ins and annual performance evaluations, provide training and orientation for new hires, and foster a culture of professional growth. You'll consult with the Director on complex cases and work collaboratively to identify and address challenges, improve service outcomes, and promote a high standard of care.
Beyond team supervision, the Clinical Supervisor will actively engage in program development and relationship-building efforts. You’ll work with community partners, schools, and other stakeholders to promote the program, strengthen referral pathways, and expand the reach of our services. You’ll also represent JSSA at meetings and events, helping to increase visibility and advocate for the needs of the families we serve.
This position requires clinical licensure (LCPC, LCSW-C), strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to balance administrative and supervisory responsibilities, and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of youth. Experience in behavioral health or human services is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. Familiarity with best practices in therapeutic mentoring, documentation standards, and community-based programming will be highly valued. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred and considered a valuable asset in serving the diverse communities we support.
