Stipend Amount: Starts at $1,552/year; follows coaching salary schedule
Supervisor: Head MS Football Coach and Athletic Director
Estimated time commitment: 10-20 hours per week, depending on the season (The official season is August 12 through October.)
Detailed description of duties/responsibilities:
- Teach fundamental skills, theory and strategy with emphasis on safety
- Attend practices Monday-Thursday 4-5:30 pm during regular season
- Supervise athletes at games and on the bus traveling to and from those events
- Build a positive team environment
- Promote physical fitness and sportsmanship
- Available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel with the team to different locations for games
- Complete the coach certifications required by CHSAA and the school district
- Other duties as assigned by the head coach
Special qualifications, if any:
- Experience coaching, especially with middle school athletes, preferred
- Knowledge of the game of football
