We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Studies and science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mentoring, lesson planning, instructional design, and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Provide mentorship and support to students
- Manage classroom behavior effectively
- Conduct research to enhance teaching materials
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
- Incorporate special education strategies for diverse learners
- Administer and grade assessments to evaluate student progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Teaching certification
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Strong research skills for enhancing educational content
- Knowledge of education administration and curriculum development
- Ability to adapt teaching style to meet the needs of individual students
- Experience with copy editing educational materials
