Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, engage students in meaningful lessons, and support their academic growth. This role requires a commitment to developing curriculum and lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles while ensuring students grasp complex concepts in physical science, life science and earth science.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach the 3 main sciences: Earth, Life and Physical Sciences.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Create a nurturing classroom in a Catholic School that will instill virtues and moral values, alongside academic excellence, preparing students to be compassionate, responsible, and engaged members of society.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities,
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in science.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 9 – 15 per week
