Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive service and repair directly at customers location. Your expertise will ensure that customers vehicles and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, focusing on powertrain systems and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). As a Mobile Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our clients. This is a role intended for an experienced candidate with self sufficiency skills.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repairs on-site, including diagnostics and troubleshooting of automotive electrical systems.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain, hydraulic components and systems for wide variety of vehicles to include light and heavy-duty diesel, off road equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during each visit.
- Utilize advanced tools and equipment to diagnose issues effectively and efficiently transmit findings to the customer.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to provide the best service possible.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicle's condition, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair and service, with a strong focus on powertrain systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a mobile environment.
- Proficient in CAT, Cummins, Detroit diagnostic software's.
- Proficient in reading of electrical schematics and knowledge on diagnosing electrical systems and components.
- Experienced in programming and replacement of electronic control units.
- 3+ years of mobile heavy diesel repair experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience in heavy diesel repair.
- Hydraulic system diagnostic and repair experience a plus.
