Multifamily Modular Sales ConsultantSummary/Objective
Signature Building Systems, a national award-winning modular manufacturer located in Moosic, PA, is looking to add a Multifamily Modular Sales Consultant to the team. This role is responsible for selling Multifamily modular buildings, such as apartment buildings, hotels, dormitories, senior living facilities, and other large-scale commercial structures and developments. The consultant is deeply involved from initial client contact and preliminary design through project completion. They maintain constant communication with clients and work closely with the Commercial Team on all aspects of preconstruction — including design, estimating, specifications, logistics — to ensure client’s risks are properly identified and mitigated and expectations are met. This position reports directly to the Director of Commercial Operations.
Position Tasks and Responsibilities
● Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using internal leads, industry contacts, and external outreach.
● Nurture trust-based relationships with clients through clear communication and reliable execution.
● Provide timely responses to builder inquiries and maintain prompt communication with clients and internal teams.
● Review orders, pricing, and plans carefully to ensure accuracy and cost engineering for project.
● Vet projects and clients using measurable qualifications to assess viability, fit, and profitability.
● Maintain organized prospect and client files, including quotes and information forms.
● Collaborate on design, estimating, logistics, fabrication, pre-planning, and risk mitigation.
● Actively pursue new business through prospecting, lead follow-ups (phone, field, web), plant tours, and market outreach.
● Participate in account sales events (such as open houses and trade shows) to support active deals and generate new leads.
● Understand the various professional roles involved in multifamily construction, including architects, developers, consultants, general contractors, and subcontractors.

Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently stand and walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with arms. Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Full-time position, 40+ hours per week.
Standard work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Travel is required for site visits, factory visits, and client meetings, which may occasionally extend beyond normal working hours.
Required Education and Experience
● High school diploma or GED.
● Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, real estate development, or modular buildings.
Preferred Education and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
● Direct experience and knowledge of multifamily construction sales.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, with uncapped earning potential based on sales performance.
