Signature Building Systems is an award-winning nationally recognized modular manufacturer known for high-quality, custom modular buildings. We're expanding our team and seeking a Multifamily Modular Sales Consultant to help grow our commercial pipeline of apartment buildings, hotels, student housing, and more.
Role Overview:
The sales position will focus on working with developers, architects, and general contractors to deliver modular multifamily solutions. The consultant will be involved from early engagement through preconstruction, collaborating with internal teams to ensure feasibility, value engineering, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline via outreach, referrals, and industry events.
- Build trust-based client relationships with clear, consistent communication.
- Qualify leads and opportunities based on project viability, fit, and profitability.
- Review drawings and pricing thoroughly for accuracy and constructability.
- Support estimating, design, logistics, and planning to reduce client risk.
- Conduct plant tours, attend trade shows, and host in-person sales meetings.
- Maintain organized records of prospects, proposals, and deal progress.
- Understand stakeholder roles in multifamily projects: developers, GCs, architects, consultants.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in construction, modular building, or real estate development sales.
- Travel required for client meetings, job sites, and factory tours.
- Proficiency in reading plans and understanding the preconstruction process.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or a related field.
- Direct experience in multifamily modular or offsite construction.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary plus sales commission (uncapped).
- This is a performance-driven role. While a base salary is provided, the primary earnings opportunity lies in commission—aligning strong sales results with high income potential.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Occasional travel and after-hours client meetings expected.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
