The Role / Summary:

The Multimedia Producer will play a crucial role in a strategic refresh of our multimedia portfolio. As such, the successful candidate will be a resourceful, driven and proactive creative collaborator. We seek someone with a sense of curiosity, a passion for experimenting with different formats, and an eye for delivering exceptional quality.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years editorial / journalism / multimedia experience within financial services, news organization, or business journalism.
  • Experience developing multimedia products, pitching processes, and editorial processes.
  • Experience building strong, collaborative relationships within and across teams.
  • Technical proficiency in recording remote interviews, digital file management
  • Digital-first mindset and familiarity with best practices for social media posts, creative images, and search-engine optimization (SEO)
  • Strong awareness of trends in financial services thought-leadership, including the ability to anticipate future content needs of market participants.
  • Innovative and imaginative thinker, capable of challenging the status quo while getting things done and delivering strong results.
  • Crisp and effective communication skills, including significant experience presenting cross-functionally and across all levels.
  • This role is hybrid and will require an in-person presence at New York or London office hubs during recordings and other business needs


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area.

The Multimedia Producer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day production of Moody’s Ratings videos, podcasts and other digital content, to ensure output meets industry standards and furthers our thought-leadership strategy. Topics and stories will best showcase Moody’s Ratings’ expertise on key topics affecting global financial markets like private credit, transition finance, digital economy, and emerging markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the AVP-Multimedia Producer, Senior Multimedia Producer, Section Editors specifically, and Research Writers, generally, in the development of multimedia content.
  • Facilitate pitching and other editorial selection processes with the AVP-Multimedia Producer.
  • Research and pitch ideas for timely coverage of topics where Moody’s Ratings can provide valuable insights.
  • Partner closely with technical editors on the scheduling, recording and editing of video, podcast, and digital content.
  • Provide tailored media training for subjects, including analysts and external guests, to ensure conversational tone.
  • Experience producing video explainers of different lengths
  • Contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of the content development process, including script writing, production, editing, multi-language assets, etc.
  • Assure quality control and organization of digital assets, transcripts, documents, logins, links, and images
  • Shephard content through editorial and regulatory processes, ensuring factchecking and appropriate reviews and approvals are carried out.
  • Oversee necessary administrative tasks, post-production and review process, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $78,500.00 - $113,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
