We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and collaboration with the kitchen staff. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience through effective upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant policies as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and payment handling.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with team members in both front-of-house and kitchen settings.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the food industry is a plus, particularly in fine dining settings.
