In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, managing, and delivering municipal infrastructure projects — with opportunities to lead project teams and build client relationships. Whether it's street reconstruction, water utilities, or stormwater management, you'll play a key role in ensuring our projects meet client expectations, stay on schedule, and deliver outstanding results.

Goals & Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the design, permitting, and construction management of municipal infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with engineering support staff to deliver successful street, utility, and stormwater projects
- Manage projects from concept through design and construction, depending on client needs
- Ensure the overall performance of projects, focusing on client satisfaction, financial success, quality control, and adherence to project schedules
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and contractors during project execution
- Maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Iowa (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in municipal engineering
- Passion for municipal projects and collaboration within a team environment
- Ability to work independently, lead project work, and meet critical deadlines
- Experience in project management and client interaction
- Basic proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interfacing with clients and contractors
