Experienced Vegan Baker
Come join our growing team at Nice Biscuit! Established in 2020, we are a locally owned and operated fully vegan business with a mission to serve great food and build community. Our shop is currently looking for fun and energetic individuals to join our team as we expand our hours and offerings.
Now hiring part-time to full-time vegan baker. This opportunity is for and experienced baker with room to grow into new positions. Baking experience is necessary(1 year), barista and food service experience is a plus!
Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a consistent sense of urgency without cutting corners or sacrificing quality. Our standards are high and we expect yours to be, too. We are professional and team-oriented. We work as a unit to provide the best customer service in town while consistently turning out quality food and drink items that are as stunning to look at as they are delicious.

About the job...
- You play a key role in helping us prepare and serve delicious 100% vegan baked goods including cookies, sweet buns, biscuits & more.
- This is at times a customer facing position and will require customer service and social skills.
You will...
-make and bake food items both sweet and savory.
- set up workstations including prep tables, bake station, etc.
- prepare and build food items according to house recipes and directions.
- properly store food in accordance with all health safety standards.
- break down, clean, and sanitize workstations.
- prepare and bake food item with utmost attention to detail.
- replenish and stock food/drink and service items to appropriate levels.
- maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards customers and co-workers.

The ideal candidate will...
- have minimum one year of vegan baking experience (required).
- have previous food service experience (preferred).
- be open to learning new skills and taking direction.
- be professional and motivated.
- possess high standards of cleanliness.
- keep a neat and organized work space.
- have knowledge of different diets and restrictions including vegan, gluten-free, food allergies.
- be team-oriented. This is a must.
- be environmentally forward and strive to keep waste low.

Weekend availability and early mornings are required.
Compensation is hourly and DOE.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
