We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a strong background in hospitality management and excellent communication skills to handle various guest inquiries and requests efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, providing solutions to enhance their stay.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls, take reservations, and provide information as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely room availability and address any issues that may arise.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when communicating with guests over the phone.
- Assist in maintaining the front desk area’s cleanliness and organization.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using phone systems; familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Experience in resort settings or handling night audits is beneficial but not mandatory.
