Rusty Wallace Nissan is expanding in our newest location and we are looking for someone special to join our Mobile Reconditioning team!
This is a great opportunity if you are a motivated self-starter looking to make money, have fun and be part of a fantastic team providing vehicle reconditioning services in a fast paced/quick turnaround environment.
While some experience in exterior detailing or auto body repair is preferred, we can train the right individual in our unique reconditioning process to be successful.
As a paint and touch up technician you will be able to work independently delivering high quality repairs in one of our mobile units to recondition the paint on vehicles. Utilizing specific surface preparation, the right equipment and proven techniques, you will inspect, prep and refinish vehicle surfaces.
Working at our multiple dealership locations you’ll be trained in multiple aspects from polishing, scratch removal or repair, touch-ups to repainting and blending bumpers and panels.
This position includes working independently to provide our customers on-site services at dealerships.

- Mix color using standard formulas
- Wet sanding and buffing of paintwork
- Sand, mask & paint surfaces, blend & polish finish to match the surrounding areas
- Using a brush, apply or retouch paint as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
- Some auto painting experience is a plus
- Vision abilities including close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Great communication skills
- Manual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasks
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather
- Physical stamina to kneel, bend and squat, as well as lift up to 45 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
