Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painting Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of renovation processes. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to project timelines and specifications.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete renovations effectively.
- Perform masonry work as needed for surface preparation or repairs.
- Execute remodeling tasks that may include plastering and drywall work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate with clients to understand their vision and provide updates on project progress.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial painting and renovation projects is preferred.
- Strong skills in basic math for measurements and calculations related to materials.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential.
- Experience in carpentry or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to build, remodel, or renovate spaces while adhering to quality standards.
- Knowledge of plastering techniques will be beneficial for certain projects.
