Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role in optimizing production and operational efficiency. This position is responsible for overseeing manufacturing, assembly, quality, and supply chain processes to meet organizational goals and ensure high standards in delivery, safety, purchasing and product quality.
Essential Job Functions:
· Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Assembly, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Planning.
· Ensure adherence to production schedules and on-time delivery of customer orders.
· Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Shipping to continuously improve workflow and operational outcomes.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
· Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance of assigned personnel.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, safety, and cost.
· Serve as a key liaison between executive leadership, senior leadership, and operations staff to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
· Partner with Engineering and Sales to support new account development and product introductions.
· Utilize ERP and data systems to monitor workflow, report progress, and drive operational decision-making.
Required Skills:
· Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting
· Knowledge of supply chain, production planning, quality systems, and safety compliance
· Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
· Proficiency in ERP systems, data analysis tools, and MS Office Suite
· Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or other relevant industry standards
· Ability to analyze, explain, and solve problems with minimal or no direction
Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field required
· Minimum of 5 years of operational leadership experience required
· Master’s Degree preferred
· Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is highly desirable

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
