What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and lead the Engineering Services department, developing robust processes and maintaining the PLM/PDM system as a reliable single source of truth for product manufacturing data.
- Serve as the primary administrator for PLM/PDM systems, supporting and training global Synopsys employees and supply chain partners.
- Oversee product documentation, including part number creation, nomenclature standardization, BOM structure, lifecycle status, document workflows, ECO processes, and approval flows.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring efficient and effective document control methodologies.
- Manage, standardize, and track the distribution of Synopsys product documentation and change orders, ensuring accuracy and timely notifications.
- Organize and lead Change Control Board (CCB) reviews for change orders, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Develop, implement, and continually improve document control processes and policies to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing/Documentation Practices.
- Generate reports and dashboards reflecting key process metrics, driving continuous improvement actions as needed.
- Train team members and supply chain partners on Engineering Services systems and procedures, ensuring best practices are consistently applied.
- Lead business transformational projects related to PLM system integration and business process flows, and support additional Product Quality Engineering efforts as assigned.

- Over 5 years of senior-level document control or engineering services experience in a high-tech environment.
- Proficiency with PLM/PDM systems such as Agile, Arena, or Empower (Empower experience highly preferred).
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and PLM software.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, document control systems, BOM structures, change order processes, and engineering/manufacturing documentation types.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
- Experience in organizations with outsourced manufacturing and quality engineering experience is a plus.
