This position is responsible for the maintenance , repair, preparation, and inspection of all permanent mold foundry tooling used in the aluminum casting process. This includes permanent molds, gating systems, and related equipment. This position ensures all permanent mold tooling is in optimal condition to support high-quality castings, production efficiency, and safety in the foundry. This position is a highly visible and responsible role that is accountable to uphold the quality and standards of the organization. This technician will also operate machines, producing quality castings when necessary. Must also be able to install and remove dies from the machines and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
The required qualifications for this position include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to read and understand work instructions, ability to make decisions, results driven and strong follow through skills, ability to pay close attention to details and good analytical problem solving skills.
We offer competitive pay! Wage range for this position is $49,400 - $64,217, annually, DOE. Other benefits include:
