Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist who excels at customer service. A key focus of this role is to oversee and communicate on incoming order in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with inquiries, process orders in QuickBooks Desktop, and maintain accurate records in our databases. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational & data entry skills. In office only for this role.
Duties
- Entering customer orders In QuickBooks for warehouse, verifying pricing, shipping and billing information, ship dates, and special instructions.
- Oversee communications; ensuring calls & emails are followed up on.
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of the order, informing customer.
- Verify customer terms and collecting payments as needed
- Review data for errors or missing information and correct discrepancies
- Reports & investigations on outstanding orders & order process
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
- Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with billing inquiries or product pricing.
- Assist with inventory & organizing stock
- Provide direct administrative support to company leadership
Qualifications
- Attention to detail is critical for accurate order processing and record maintenance.
- 3–5 years of previous experience in small business or product-based industry preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) GSuite, & QuickBooks Desktop.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers.
- Accurate data entry skills & ability to effectively troubleshoot problems
- Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and research skills
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with inventory control systems and processes
- Familiarity with report creation & viewing in QuickBooks & Excel for order management.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
