Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, including airbnb type rentals. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct thorough commercial cleaning tasks in offices, retail spaces, or other facilities.
- Execute residential cleaning duties such as kitchen sanitization, bathroom cleaning, and general tidying.
- Maintain hotel cleanliness by preparing guest rooms for new arrivals and ensuring common areas are presentable.
- Sanitate surfaces to promote a healthy environment for clients and guests.
- Carry out carpet cleaning and floor care tasks to enhance the appearance of various surfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team or independently.
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and materials is desirable.

Expected hours: 6 – 25 per week
