Position Overview
Upswing is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Part-Time Associate Marketing Manager to support our marketing and events initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves writing and creative problem-solving, and is excited to help bring our brand to life across multiple channels. This is a remote position based in Durham, NC, with occasional in-office work as needed. You MUST be in the Durham, NC area for occasional in person work!
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
Write and schedule engaging content for email campaigns, social media, and marketing collateral.
Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent voice and branding across all platforms.
Assist in developing sales and promotional materials for prospective and existing clients.
Support the creation of newsletters, landing pages, and case studies.
Event Coordination
Coordinate logistics for conferences and events, including registration, sponsorship deliverables, and travel arrangements.
Pack, ship, and track event materials and promotional items.
Maintain event calendars and assist with post-event follow-up.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Canva, social media platforms, and Google Workspace is a plus.
Must be located in the Durham, NC area and available to work from the office on occasion.
