We are looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Kitchen Assistant with at least 1 year of kitchen experience to join our Thai kitchen. The role includes assisting with food prep, operating the deep fryer, and ensuring a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily food preparation (cutting, chopping, portioning, etc.)
- Operate and monitor the deep fryer for appetizers and entrees
- Support chefs with ingredient prep, sauces, and garnishes
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards
- Assist with plating and service during busy periods
- Ensure proper storage and stock rotation
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant kitchen (Thai cuisine a plus)
- Comfortable with deep frying and basic prep work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends preferred)
