The Showing Agent is a key position in Real Property Management Consultants responsible for the ongoing care of our clients and customers. The Showing Agent is responsible for direct interaction with prospective and current customer tenants. This position is often the face of Real Property Management Consultants. The role touches the leasing process from introduction through occupancy and is responsible for maintaining trust and communication from onboarding of the resident and continuing through the duration of their tenancy.
This role is also be responsible for conducting mid-lease evaluations with existing tenants, meeting them at the property and conducting a quick walkthrough and discussing any issues with the tenants. The evaluation is documented and sent to leadership for review with the investors.
Essential Responsibilities
- Demonstrate high integrity and quality of service to build trust with clients and tenants, as well as contractors and other vendors.
- Partner to prepare advertisements for available rentals; monitor and adjust, as needed, to successfully fill vacancies.
- Help identify needed repairs and maintenance for managed properties and capture feedback from potential tenants when showing or evaluating properties.
- Ensure accurate records of all activities, update systems & reports, and manage documentation of all tenant paperwork.
- Attend regular office meetings and training, as requested; maintain good communication with leadership and the rest of the team.
- Provide feedback with a focus on continuous improvement of company procedures.
- Positively represent the values of Real Property Management Consultants in all interactions.
- Schedule property showings and evaluations through phone, email and text interactions. Meet candidates at properties around the greater KC area to facilitate property tours.
- Provide office support between calls and showings providing administrative assistance, including: answering the phones, scanning and filing documents, capturing customer information into company systems, auditing of online data, responding to prospective tenant inquires, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Landlord-Tenant laws in all client/customer interactions.
- Other duties, as assigned – this will entail wearing a lot of hats as this small business grows to meet the needs of our clients, customers and stakeholders.
- NOTE: This role will primarily be afternoon/evening with some Saturdays.

- Local area knowledge
- Background / License in real estate is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
