The Wylie Spray Center Parts Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service by assisting internal and external customers with identifying, locating, and purchasing parts and supplies related to agricultural spray equipment. This role requires knowledge of agricultural machinery, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail to ensure accurate parts transactions. In addition, you will work closely with the service department, sales team, and customers to ensure timely and accurate parts support for all Wylie Case IH products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in person and by phone in a friendly, professional manner.
- Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for spray equipment.
- Process parts order’s, returns, and warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date parts inventory system.
- Stock shelves, receive shipments, and ensure proper labeling and storage of parts.
- Collaborate with service technicians and sales staff to fulfill internal parts needs.
- Input and manage orders using inventory management software.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts department.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Learn and stay current on product knowledge and new product lines.
- Always uphold safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Prior experience in agricultural parts, equipment, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural sprayers and spray systems highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams and manuals.
- Proficient in basic computer and POS systems; experience with inventory software a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/shop environment.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced agricultural manufacturing and retail setting. Indoor and occasional outdoor exposure.
- May require standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day.
